Q&A on Taxi information during any Forth Road Bridge closures
Taxi Transfer information if and when Forth Road Bridges are closed to:
Cars, cars with roof boxes & cars with luggage transporters/trailers
All taxis must travel a longer diverted route: Via Kincardine or Stirling.
Allow extra time for your journey!
All road traffic will be diverted via the Kincardine and Clackmannanshire Bridges.
Whenever possible, the office and your driver will try extremely hard to contact the Lead passenger on the telephone number supplied at the time of booking, to offer the option to cancel your taxi collection,.
Another option for you to consider is for the driver to drop you off at the North side of the Forth Rail Bridge then take the bus or train.
However, if you cannot be sucessfully contacted a £60.00* extra charge will be added to your pre-booked fare and approx. trip time is 120 minutes.
